Our beautiful borzoi, Zar, passed over to rainbow bridge today. He will be so missed! So many memories ... I will miss the hugs!

So today I saw the above sign posted on the internet and it got me thinking. Although not entirely true, it is through sheer procrastination that we don’t keep these things in a form where future generations can see them (i.e., get them printed). Just recently I was clearing a cupboard out in the basement and came across a packet of letters from various friends of our parents, and relatives. These letters are over 50 years old. I sat and read each one and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Will my future generations have letters saved so their kids will read them one day? It is my hope that all generations find a magical shoe box of family treasures stashed away somewhere.
I've been hankerin' for an ice cream cone for some time now, so we went out and got one. Sent the man to the window, while I waited. Look at what he brought me...totally coated with caramel. Scoffed that sucker down in a jiffy let me tell you! :)
